Minutes from the July 12, 2005 Board Meeting were approved as presented with a
motion from John Kraus, Jr., seconded by Carole Garczynski.
Treasurers Report: The Treasurers Report for $219,180.44 was approved as presented
with a motion from John Kraus, Jr., seconded by Carole Garczynski. A full report is on
file.

Agenda:
Letter of Intent for Minor Land Division submitted by Evelyn Zillmer to create a one acre
parcel, with existing home, and a 32 acre parcel:
Scott Steers, Chairman of the Planning Committee, stated that because the use of the
land will not change the committee recommends approval with a “Right to Farm”
statement on lot 1, and a deed restriction on Lot 2 that there be no further land divisions.
John Kirchberg made a motion seconded by John Kraus, Jr., to allow the proposed
division with the two restrictions as advised by the planning committee. Call of voice
votes: all aye, no nay, motion carried.
Amend Mobile Home Ordinance to require inspections prior to the sale or placement of
mobile homes in parks:
Section 6.1 (a) of the Town of Calamus Mobile Home Ordinance shall read:
Used units which, prior to sale within the park or placement in the park, are to be
inspected by the Town Board or it’s designee at the mobile home owners
expense; which inspection finds that all mechanical systems are functional, that
all structural components, including but not limited to, windows, siding, roof,
insulation and flooring are in good, functional repair; OR
Chairman Kirchberg opened the floor for discussion, with no response. A motion was
made by John Kraus, Jr., seconded by Carole Garczynski to amend section 6.1 (a) as
read by the clerk. Call of Voice votes: all aye, no nay, motion carried.
Discuss salt shed issues and pricing of salt/sand to other towns: The accepted bid for
salt is from North American Salt at $37.36 per ton delivered. Chairman Kirchberg did not
have a sand price yet. Further discussion was laid over until next month.
Report from Driveway Inspector: Approved existing driveway permit for Eugene and
Craig Swan.
Other Business:
Clerk is to send 10-day notice to Steve Weishoff at N6386 Hartt Road to remove refuse
from town right-of-way.
Clerk to send 10-day notice to Jeff Lewke to remove rock, debris and fencing from to
right-of-way on Kirchberg Road.
A motion was made by John Kirchberg, seconded by John Kraus, Jr. to hire K+B Tree
and Lawn Care to drop 4 trees in Town Park for a total of $750.00 and to drop one oak
and grind stump and over seed in Bethany cemetery. Call of voice votes: all aye, no
nay, motion carried.
