Called to Order: at 7:30 pm by Chairman John Kirchberg
Meeting Notice Posted: on September 7, 2001 at the Schultz's Cheese Haus, Town Hall and Dodge County Coop. Published in the Daily Citizen on September 10, 2001.
Minutes: Being no corrections or additions, the minutes from the August 7, 2001 Board Meeting were approved as submitted with a motion from John Kraus, Jr., seconded by Lucille Miller.
Treasurers Report: A report for the total of $90,630.19 was presented by Treasurer Marian Haas and approved as presented with a motion from John Kraus, Jr., seconded by John Kirchberg. A full report is on file.
Questions or comments from Town Residents: Marvin Miller stated he was concerned that the sanitation beds for Millers Woods Development will be located in the Town of Calamus. Dennis Steinkraus of MSA Professionals stated that the survey is complete and accurate and all the beds are located in Town of Beaver Dam. He will have the town boundary staked.
Agenda:
MSA agent for Miller's Woods Ltd. final plat for First Addition Miller's Wood's. After discussion a motion was made by John Kraus, Jr. to approve with conditions the final plat for the first addition of Millers Woods. The conditions are that Outlot 8 is to have an "Agricultural Use Only" statement, and all residential lots are to have "Right to Farm" statement recorded on deeds. And if the final certified survey map states these conditions, permission for Chairman and Clerk to sign if received before next board meeting. A second to the motion was made by Lucille Miller. Call of votes: all aye, motion carried.
Certified Survey Map of Steven Krenz, tabled from August 11, 2001 Board Meeting. Because the land dedication is needed to provide a legal lot for the land owned by Steven Krenz at the end of Canary Road, Brad Johnson of New Frontier Land Survey presented the certified survey map. Adjoining landowners Mr. and Mrs. Jack Saunders, who will also have to dedicate land, were not present, however because it is necessary for them to sign the survey map before it could be filed with the County, a motion was made by John Kirchberg to approve with the condition that it be clearly stated on the certified survey map that this is a land dedication only, and the Town of Calamus is not responsible to provide an actual road. A second to the motion was made by John Kraus, Jr. Call of votes: all aye, motion carried.
Letter of Intent submitted by Dale Goodrich and Doreen Stange to divide the residence and farm buildings with approximately 19 acres at N6126 Forest Road, Section 14.
Planning Committee Chairman Scott Steers stated that the committee viewed the land division and although the parcel with the buildings is larger then the Land Use Plan states, it makes sense with the lay of the land. This division is for the settlement of the Harold Guenther Estate to the son and daughter. Mr. Steers asked that a deed restriction be placed on the residential parcel as to no further divisions of land to be allowed, as well as "Right to Farm" statement. And an "Agricultural Use Only" statement be placed on the remaining land. A motion was made by John Kraus, Jr. to approve this division with the conditions as recommended by the committee. Lucille Miller seconded the motion. Call of votes: all aye, motion carried.
